In 2026, many phone brands will launch their flagship models, but here’s some people that do not have a lot of money and want a phone that is perfect in camera, gaming, battery and overall a best phone. My friend bought a Redmi Turbo 4(Non PTA) and used it for almost 2 months and today we shared their honest review. According to multiple Pakistani retailers, the Redmi Turbo 4(Non PTA) price approximately starts from Rs. 68,000 to 78,000 PKR.
It costs us almost 70,999 PKR from the local market. So now we can get a better review of this smartphone and check if it is still worth it in 2026 or not!
Design & Build

The Redmi Turbo 4 officially comes in three colors, which is white, black and blue. It has a red Line on the back of white color, and also has RGBs light around the back camera. The design looks cool in your hands and feels like a premium device. It has a dual camera setup on the back, by the way camera’s have decent results.
Its AMOLED display is perfect for a person that wants a high resolution and colourful display to watch movies or play games. Also if you’re a shorts or reel lover then its 120Hz feels smooth while scrolling to next. We noticed that if you’re a Pakistani then it has the one of best displays compared to other brands in this price range. He also noticed that, because of its 3200nits peak, if we use this phone it never feels like a low light display even if we use it outdoors under the sun.
Is it best for Gaming?

We tested PUBG Mobile on this phone, you can get 120FPS in match and 90FPS in Lobby. When you play a classic match with teammates the average FPS is 115-120, but sometimes the frame drops to 105FPS but does not feel laggy or glitchy. Also after 30mins of gaming the phone starts heating but still the FPS is almost the same. Yes, when the battery percentage is below 20% in the game you can feel frame drops and lag.
If you’re a normal gamer person then it’s a great choice but not for extreme gamers. If your room temperature is below 30 degree C, the device performs excellent and if above 30 degree then you can feel heat-up issues. In other games, like freefire you will also get 120fps and in gunshin impact you will get 60fps gameplay.
Daily life Usage

They said its latest update HyperOS 3.0 is too good and smooth to use in daily multitasking, also its Hyper Island save feels aesthetic while charging the phone, sharing files, playing media and many more applications in the background. You can apply Ai cinematic wallpapers and also Dynamic wallpapers that feel like Apple OS. Also the best thing is you have many options and widgets to redesign your phone homescreen. Overall the phone feels premium in daily use and not found any issue.
HyperConnect Feature
This is the feature that I personally liked and used too many times. If you have 2 Xiaomi brand smartphones with HyperOS 3 update you can easily share your files and media just go near to another device, find it and click to share. The best part that we liked was that it also worked with Apple devices. You can share your photos, videos, files and also wifi passwords.
If you have an Apple Macbook or iPad you can connect your Xiaomi phone by using Xiaomi Interconnectivity and literally you can use your complete phone on it & use all apps on it. Just think your phone is on charging and you need a file or media from it, just use Xiaomi Interconnectivity and Get Your Files Instantly without touching your phone.
Camera Quality
Although the Redmi Turbo 4 is not a professional camera phone, it still has a decent photo quality in a day light. On the back, you noticed a dual camera setup, one is 50MP wide and another is 8MP ultra wide sensor. This smartphone can record 4k videos at 60fps with its back cameras. The front camera has a 20MP wide sensor that can record videos at 1080@30fps. We attached some Back and front camera photos that were captured with this device. Overall a decent camera in day light but if you’re taking photos in night or low light then you can experience some noise in photos.
Software Update

Another best thing about this device is it has Android 16 officially support and also in future upgrade up to Android 18. Maybe some people are confused about it, if in-future it has Android 17 update so can we get DexMode on it, so the answer is “NO”. It’s because the new Android 17 Desktop Mode required minimum USB 3.1 and DisplayPort Alt Mode, but the Redmi Turbo 4 has USB 2.1 and didn’t come with DisplayPort Alt Mode.
In the HyperOS update there’s too much wallpaper and other customization options. That’s a good thing, it gives you a smooth and better experience.
Battery and Charging

This Redmi Turbo 4 has a 6550mAh carbon silicon battery. If you use this device extremely heavy then its battery can last up to 5 to 6 hours and 20 minutes. But if you use this phone normally like daily tasks, some multi-tasking and normal gaming, it can last for 1 to 1.5 days.

You can charge your Turbo 4 with a C Type charger when you plug it in and it shows animated RGB Lights around the camera. The best part is it has 90W fast charging support that can charge your phone in 55 to 59 minutes. It’s like when you go to GYM just plug it in the charger and after your workout completes you will get a fully charged device.
Redmi Turbo 4 vs 4 Pro
Some people think Redmi Turbo 4 and Redmi Turbo 4 Pro are almost the same devices but no thats not true, both smartphones have some major changings. Here are some differences in both devices.
| Model | Redmi Turbo 4 | Redmi Turbo 4 Pro |
| Display | 6.67”, 1920Hz PWM, 1400nits HBM | 6.83”, 38400Hz PWM, 1800nits HBM |

Now, the main changings are cleared for all redmi users and non users.
Verdict:
Good For
- It’s good for those who want a best looking device and decent camera and future updates supported device for daily life usage and smooth multitasking.
- Also good for classic gamers who play just to feel fresh or enjoying with friends sometime.
- If you need a smartphone with long battery life and fast charging support you can also consider this device.
- If you’re Pakistani and can pay its PTA Tax then it’s another reason to buy this device. It has 5G network connectivity which is good for users because now many Sim companies provide 5G signals in Pakistan.
- Best for those who want balanced performance and all specs, without investing too much money.
Bad For
- If you’re a hard gamer that wants to play games for a long time without any single FPS drop or heat issue then this device is not for you because after playing some matches you can feel heat up issues mostly in summer.
- Also, if you need a phone specially for photography, then you can consider another phone because the camera quality is decent but not too professional.
- If you want a device that supports Android DexMode after the 17 update so this device is again not for you.
